Just got back from Grand Central optical and had a GREAT experience. The staff were friendly and were extremely flexible and patient with me when I was unsure of my vision insurance provider (new job!). They checked several databases and finally found my provider after playing several rounds of trial and error. They were determined that I get the best deal.

Dr Ann Nguyen was quick, helpful, polite and clearly very smart. She was able to determine & write up my new rx for both contacts and glasses with 30 minutes.

AWFUL! I called 2 HOURS after getting the OVERPRICED glasses receipt, with no mention of a NO CANCELATION policy and was rudely told by the manager that I was being unreasonable. I was promised a call back which never came. This morning, on my way out, I received a message from the same manager that "the policy was no refunds" and that they had "already been processed". I will get my money back through my credit card company, so they might want to rethink "the policy" because I have no intention of walking back into this rip off place where I was spoken to like this by a "manager". Unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs!
