Gotham City Diner

Great choices, and really cool atmosphere. Although it's not as Batman-ee as it could/should be. I have witnessed a few overcooked burgers on my trips here, but the breakfast is always good as well as the dessert.

We love this dinner, this is our dinner of choice sometimes we are there multiple times during the week especially because we live a couple of blocks away. Except for last night, my family went there for dinner my ribs were inedible and my husband's lasagne was gross. I returned my ribs and they took it off the bill. My husband didn't want to return his lasagne and just said lets get the bill and go when the kids are done. When the waitress asked if he wanted to wrap his lasagne he said no she proceeded to say but you just took a bite. I told her it didn't taste good she took it upon herself to tell the manager and he said I can't take it off the bill but I can give you a piece of cake. I was more annoyed with that than anything else we didn't have diner but you want to give us dessert. I would think as a manager you would of come over and be more concerned that your dinner served two unedible meals. It's not like we ate the food and said it was not good both meals had one bite that I actually had to spit out into a napkin that's how bad it was. My bill was $60 and I had to go home and make diner for me and my husband. It's sad that our server was more concerned and kept apologizing but the manager wanted to buy us a piece of cake. Won't be going there for dinner again.

Great prices. Great atmosphere. Crappy fries though.

Took my family there for dinner. The place looks amazing. The food quality is below average, but the prices are above normal. The place will be best if it had a signature chef and covert into a restaurant and not a dinner. It has the infrastructure and design for a ridgewood type of restaurant. Will not go out of my way for it since it is just average over price dinner food.

Honestly, I love this place. My girlfriend introduced me to this diner last year, and we literally order here every other Friday. We always get the rib eye steak. I'm a big steak person and I'm pretty picky about where I get my steak from and my girlfriend is even pickier. But when she told me the steak was good I didn't want to believe it. But it's definitely more than good for a diner. There mash potatoes are bomb!! And so are their curly fries. There chicken Ceasar salad is bomb too. And Mike the owner is a great guy. He's great with customers and he always has my order 100%
