Gotham Builders sent sub-contractor to install Andersen Windows throughout my English Tudor home. they installed the first floor correctly, but then installed all second floor windows from the inside, removed all flanges and nailed windows to external finished old exterior trim and siliconed in place.
this caused extensive water damage through out my house, through kitchen into basement. I had to open a pine wood wall to see where water was coming from. My insurance company, State Farm upon review stated that windows were installed incorrect and demanded windows be installed correctly within a set time period, or they would cancel my home owners policy. Gotham Builders was asked to install correctly all of the windows at which time they sent a different crew back and they only re-installed some of the double hung old windows with the nail holes exposed.
they used foam insullation to close gaps and left October 2012.
They don't respond back to e-mails and have ruined my house.
