Pat and Nancy (I believe those names are correct) were more than accommodating even though we showed up without a reservation. They were able to give us a cheap place to stay the entire weekend, saving us hundreds of dollars. They were very kind to us even though we were from out of stay and had no idea what we were doing. They gave us a subway map and told us how to catch the bus that took you right to the entrance. Without them we would have been clueless as to how to get into manhatten via subway/bus. Great customer service and a cheap alternative to hotels. I have recommended this place to everyone looking to take a trip to NYC.

Camping in Brooklyn, not having to go far too pitch a tent and enjoy the silence of the wilderness sounds like a great idea.

If that's what you're expecting, cancel your reservation, call your friend with a backyard and get him to bring over all the kids from the block to pitch a tent right next to yours.

Your tent site, it's RIGHT NEXT to everyone else staying there! So close you can hear them snore.

I've seen bathrooms used by an infantry company that were cleaner then the ones available 24h on site.

I would rather sleep in my car at a Walmart parking lot instead of dealing with a lot full of people that disregard the comfort of others.
