I went to Dr. Ruben for some time as he and a periodontist that he works with were performing a tooth implant on me. I was involved in an accident and one of my primary front teeth had to be extracted and replaced.
I was obviously very concerned about this dental procedure and wanted it to be perfect. I am certainly a perfectionist and when it comes to my teeth it's no different. I asked lots of questions along the way to make sure that I was comfortable and would be happy with the outcome. Unfortunately, questions about Dr. Ruben's work and a critical eye for detail were not taken well. My questions were brushed off and it was conveyed that I was too picky.
I am now seeing another dentist in Manhattan and I feel that he is far better for cosmetic dental surgery. Dr. Ruben is good for routine procedures, especially for small children as his office is aesthetically pleasing and entertaining. However, if a more serious task is at hand I would recommend consulting with other dentists.
