Glen Cove Yacht Club, located in city of Glen Cove, NY offers convenient mooring, and has one of the quickest and easy accesses to western Long Island Sound. It also has protection from the waves of a leeward shore being behind the jetty. And protection from the more serious Northeaster storms by being tucked away on the west side of the Landing in Glen Cove.
The yacht club itself has recently undergone interior renovation, and is located next to Morgan Park, where numerous activities are scheduled during the boating season. Launch service operates 6 days a week [Tuesday off]. The 2010 year brings the club into it's 50th year, where celebrations are being planned for the season.
