Giving Tree Yoga Studio

Went here on the recommendation of my faincee, and got an AMAZING massage fro Anthony. Highly recommended!

I bought a coupon for $20.00 for 20 classes at Living Social for me and my friend. It was my first time practicing yoga. Wow!!!! The studio is beautiful and bathroom is kept meticulous clean. The instructors are amazing. The classes are all inspiring and for all levels. Convenient location. I loved it so much that i took my 13 y old to a few classes and two other friends. Unfortunately my 20 classes expired, i went on vacation came back broke. I will try my best to continue attending the classes in the near future. If you out there is looking for a wonderful place to practice yoga I strong recommend this place.

I first went to the Giving Tree after someone bought me the one month unlimited new student special a few years ago as a gift. I was having a hard time getting motivated to work out and carve out time to myself after the birth of my son. I ended up finding much more than I could have ever imagined - some of my closest friends and mentors. The Giving Tree is more than a studio. It is a loving community, a sanctuary, a home away from home. Whether you are new to Astoria, or just looking to connect more, spend a little time here. Even if you are brand new to yoga, you will be completely welcome and supported.

I absolutely love The Giving Tree! I was a huge fan of Anne-Margaret’s class when she used to teach at The Rock years ago. I was thrilled when I saw she and Anthony opened a studio in Astoria! I have never been disappointed with any of the classes I’ve ever taken. Yoga has changed our lives for the better and a big part of that is the wonderful, attentive teachers at the Giving Tree. The schedule is diverse enough to accommodate all work schedules. The teachers each have their own unique style and approach but all are attentive, personable, and really knowledgeable. The studio itself is beautiful inside!

This is my favorite yoga studio. I've been going to The Giving Tree for two years now, and what makes it stand out from its competition is its atmosphere and community. I always feel at home when I am here, the yoga instructors pay close attention to each individual's practice, and it is a very welcoming environment. I have developed strong relationships with my yogi peers--many of whom I see off the mat too--whereas at most other yoga studios, people don't even say hi or speak to each other. The yoga studio itself is a beautiful space and clean. My favorite classes are the Wednesday 6:30pm Vinyasa class and the Sunday 4:45pm Chakra class. The two owners make every effort to make The Giving Tree a delightful learning environment. I would definitely recommend this studio, give it a try!
