Gino's Pizzeria & Restaurant

The food is great, the waiters are awesome. Never had a bad meal there. Its my go to place

I can't understand all the negative reviews. We have been going to Gino's averaging once a week for about a year now. We eat in, and have dinners (not pizza). I have never had a bad meal. I usually have some sort of chicken cutlet meal. They make cutlets every conceivable way, and they are all always good. My gf gets a chopped salad or fish or something Parmesan. Always good. Their creamy Italian dressing is incredible, like no place I've ever had. The pizza is as good as any decent pizza joint.
I have never had any complaints about the wait staff. They seem like professional middle-aged Italian male waiters like you would see in old movies or tv shows. There is one young guy in his mid-twenties, but I heard he is a son or something. They're efficient enough, and seem fully engaged in what they are doing. No phony "buddy waiter crap" like the major food chains do now. That's annoying.
The place was recently renovated, it looks like it cost a fortune. It's very impressive, no detail was spared, and the place is always spotlessly clean.
To top it all off, the place is relatively cheap, and the portions are HUGE!
The kitchen and dining room are open very late. At least til midnight, maybe even later.
Five Stars!
My one complaint, but it doesn't effect my rating is that it is very loud. Everything is marble and brick with nothing to absorb the noise of people talking.

If you are ever in south queens , Please visit Gino's . located on crossbay blvd. a pizzeria with a dining area is what it looks like, but my experience was 5 star! the menu listed from appitizers to pasta entrees, hot heros, wraps and beyond. the service was great, old italian man. and there are wines and beers to choose from. i had a glass of pinot grigio. the servings are amazingly generous, i enjoyed the Antipasto alla Gino for appitizer! GET IT! the place is also great if u want to get a plain slice and a snapple and be on your way.
