Gino's Pizza

I eat here several times a week. The escarole and bean soup is out of this world. It does get a bit crazy busy on Friday and Saturday nights. I prefer eating after 8 anyway.

There is nothing to like about Gino's pizza! The pizza tastes like cardboard, and 90% of the time, it's burnt! Either they are too cheap to make quality pizza or they are trying to mass produce the pizza and they just don't care. The sauce tastes bland and disgusting and there is hardly enough cheese on their pizzas. I also got the racist vibe from them.. Thought I was the only one. They rush you out the door or they ignore you. Two nights in a row, and I have given up on them. There are teens who run the register, so of course their customer service skills are pretty crappy. This is the first bad review I have ever written, but I was livid with my service tonight! The young boy at the counter looked me in the face, took my order, but proceeded to assist another customer. Then when he saw me give him the eye, he finally cut my pizza, put it in the box and rung me up. So not only did the service suck, but my pizza was hard & cold!!!!! I had to warm it up at home, and it tasted like garbage! There was NO taste, and it was hard & dry! This is an indication that they use CHEAP products to make their pizzas! Cheap sauce, cheap cheese, and poorly made pizza dough! I almost went back in there and went off, but I decided to just be peaceful and walk out. Their cardboard burnt pizza was ridiculous. Even their Sicilian pizza was burnt and THIN!!! I was seriously appalled at how poor their service and pizza was. These people who are giving them good reviews clearly don't know about good pizza.

I love this place. The food is great and so are the workers. Best pizza in town. It gets very busy at times but as in everything in life if you don't speak up you will not be seen.

Sooo SHOCKED with these reviews.... never have i sensed a racist attitude toward my friends, family or myself from anyone here. Ive been coming here since I was 4 and not only do they have the best pizza but i choose their pasta over most italian food places ive had. I do think that there should be a more organized line for ordering in the front, but thats about it. These reviews are wack.

it was recommended to me by 2 people when I moved to the area, "best pizza around" I found it expensive and tasteless! I won't be going back, especially after reading the other reviews that they are racist. papa John's is better!
