Gibraltar Transmissions

We took our Chev Suburban to Gibraltar Transmission in 2014 to rebuild our transmission and four-wheel drive. The truck has been running well since then. This year, Gibraltar Transmission was given the challenging task to repair several other issues on the vehicle that other technicians did not want to fix. They were able to diagnose and repair these issues at a reasonable price (reasonable compared to the dealer). If we had any issues after the repairs, they were more than willing to take a look at the vehicle to see what was wrong.

Staff has always been courteous and responsive to our questions, comments and concerns.

I am disappointed I didn't read the reviews about this place but then again MOST mechanics are SHADY BEINGS. I spent close to 3, 000 to get my transmission fixed and within 2 weeks of getting it back my car broke down again. I see complains about the staff but my experience was, they are a bunch of sweet talkers. Jacked up prices and then have the nerve to say oh, the cost was more but we will honor what we said before. .....Ummm yea, so you can't ask them to beat down. I don't plan on referring anyone here.

As i once again say thank you for getting my cars f.ixed and service at your shop.I wan to say how the staff here is very friendly and courteous and my cars are working perfectly great ever since,so i recommend any body to just visit this shop if you have any car problems

Best place to take your car for any service, but I took my van in for a new transmission, not only was it a good price , but the job was done great. The guys who work there a very good mechanics, my car is running smooth . If I could give them 6 stars I would, thank you for all your help guys.

i had to take my car here since it was the closest shop at the time... When I got there the person who spoke to me told me that the mechanic was going to have to check to see if the problem was the transmission or something different... It ended up being some issue with something in the transmission not familiar with the term since I have no clue how to change a tire myself... I decided to leave it there with them to fix it... After coming to an arrangement on the charge and payment I got my car one week after drove the car and seems to be good as new ... To me the people there were nice and respectful in contrast to some other reviews that I have read ... Hope that this helps someone
