Top dentist in Bayside Queens, i had a dental emergency. i felt like my whole right side of my face was on fire. i called gentle dental, they were able to setup an appointment right away. they performed a root canal, the pain went away and im one happy camper. very professional dental office.

Staff is always friendly & very welcoming . The dentists are great . I love that they put a lavender spray on a napkin on my chest so I can feel relaxed . They always play Netflix . They'll give you a milk shake if you didn't get a chance to eat before your appointment . I've been going for years and I will never go somewhere else . After days of constant throbbing pain and sleepless nights, I went to my old dentist for an appointment. He took one look at the x-ray of my molar and declared I was going to have the tooth extracted since it had split. I was supposed to come back the following day for the procedure but my dentist left on vacation leaving me in a very bad position. I asked my friends if they knew any good dentist. I was recommended that I go to the Gentle Dental to have the work done. I remembered from my previous appointment how difficult my last extraction was and that this one was probably going to be as difficult if not more. I called the dental office and they told me to come right in for an emergency consult. I was getting nervous walking in for my appointment since i was in pain for more than four days. The people at the reception desks were professional and helpful in directing me where I needed to go and helping me sign in. Dr. Ilyabayev was assigned to my case and he put me at ease almost immediately. It might've been his friendly attitude or the fact that he covered the steps of the procedure and made sure that I understood what he was telling me. He asked me if i had any questions or concerns. The extraction went according to plan without any complications. I was finally pain free and able to eat and drink without any pain. I highly recommend Gentle Dental to anyone. The professionalism, competence and care given is superb and the cost is reasonable. Thank you again for everything

WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE..... I went to the dentist for a cleaning, there were no other work needed. Apparently they wanted to make money so the dentist recommended that I removed my silver filling and get the white ones. The 1st removal was no problem, the second one - when he removed the filling he told me that it could not be replaced with another filling, I needed a root canal. I was so upset I told him to put my filling back in, ask for all my records and never return. What I should have done was reported then to consumer affairs - this is theft. This experience does not deserve a star, unfortunately I have to give one.

The office is welcoming and well kept. Every member of the staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Too many businesses today sacrifice service levels in the name of efficiency. Gentle Dental maintains the highest of both. They made the visit comfortable for both me and my 10 year old. They think of every detail and take great care of our teeth. Thanks!
