If you want a big serving of rice with a two teaspoon side dish of curried goat (half of which are bones) and cabbage, then this is the place for you! I went here about a week ago. Ordered a curried goat dinner with rice&beans. It's carry out, so it came in one of those styrofoam serving dishes with a big depression for your main dish, and two smaller depressions for your side dishes. Well, apparently I ordered a Rice&Beans dinner because the larger depression was heaped FULL of rice with a few beans in it (and it was dry). Really, there weren't many beans at all. Then there was a little side order of curried goat (with bones) and another teaspoon-sized side of cabbage. The price for this delicious meal? $10!!!

And why do all of the caribbean places look so run-down that you want to think twice about eating anything from them. Even fast food restaurants should look nice and clean! I'm not saying the place was unsanitary, it just looked...dingy. And nearly all of them have this dingy, run-down look. Really, I've only been to 3 caribbean restaurants that you can sit down and eat dinner in comfortably. Two were in NYC, and one was in South Orange. Unfortunately, the one in S. Orange had a really bad, out of the way location so it's closed now. But the food and service was good. And I've never seen a "fast food" one that was nice and bright and clean and appealing like the typical fast-food restaurant you find in the U.S. Really, if you saw a McD's or Burger King or Chinese Restaurant looking like these places, you wouldn't go in there unless you were desperate.

I love this place. Everything taste home cooked, great prices, fast service. Delicious!

The food is absolutely wonderful. If you're looking for great Jamaican cuisine this is the place to eat. An affordable Jamaican eatery. Love the food
