A pleasant community setting and great amenities! A great layout breaking up the traditional building set up of the neighborhood including a wonderful, central garden/park.

The literal worst when it comes to move in and move outs - emailed them 3 weeks in advance and went back and forth the entire time, only to not be allowed and on the list when we came with the car to move out.
There isn't a single brain cell between the entire management team. No interaction is easy. Especially when moving out. Apparently the idea is - if you move in, you should never move out. Doormen and workers around the building are nice.

I don't typically write reviews, but my experience at Gateway was so bad that I'm writing my first Google review ever. DON'T live in this place!!! You will regret it later on. The very very terrible management office staff will charge hidden fees in your security deposit!! Customer service is very difficult to reach, and they will also yell at you on the phone if you ask questions. They're extremely rude people. It's the worse experience I've ever had. We cleaned the apartment with a professional cleaning service before moving out, but we still were charged over $100 in cleaning fees. When we returned the keys to the doorman, the management office said that they did not receive the keys until the day after we gave it to the doorman. As a result, they decided to charge us an extra day of rent and a late fee, which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. I sent pictures of the empty apartment to the management office and asked them to check the security camera footage as proof that we did leave on the day that we told them we left. However, they ignored us completely. They don't care because they just want to squeeze as much money as possible from tenants. In the end, the management office over-charged us more than $500 dollars after we moved out. Not to mention the windows in the apartment were always leaking and provided terrible insulation. The apartment was always freezing in the winter. And if you use the heating unit that is provided, the monthly electric bill will easily go above $400/mo for a one bedroom apartment. Don't trust the leasing office if they tell you that they fixed the leaky Windows. They told us the same, and we only found out they were lying after we moved in. We lived from 2015 to 2016, and nothing has changed. I would leave a negative (-5) star review if there was one.
