Future Star Academy Day Care

My son started going to Future Star Academy when he was almost 10 months old. I must say, this was the best decision I made for my son. Ms. Rose is very caring, nurturing and attentive to all the children she cares for and their needs. The moment I walked in for a visit, she automatically embraced my son and knew his personality from the beginning. I loved the fact that it was a home based daycare, right around the corner, and she provided my son with the one-on-one attention he needed for his age. By the time my son was 2 he knew his ABCs, numbers, and several nursery rhymes. I never once had to worry about my son while he was in the care of Ms. Rose. Unfortunately we moved, but if I could, I would have kept my son with Ms. Rose until he was school aged.

I am a first time mom of a now one year old boy. As you can imaging, finding someone to take care of your most precious little one can be extremely stressful. In fact, I often found myself crying at the thought of going back to work and leaving my son for almost 12 hrs a day. I had everything all planned out, someone was going to travel to my home early in the morning, stay with him all day and then my husband would drive her home. Less than two weeks before she was supposed to start my husband called her to confirm a time for a "trial run". It was then that we found out she took another job and would not be caring for our son. Needless to say I was beside myself. I frantically began searching online for someone who would take him at such a short notice. Luckily I came across an ad for a daycare that was a mile down the road from my home. On the same street!! Was this too good to be true? When I called, the owner, Rose, answered and assured me she would take good care of my son. She was reasonably priced and was open for the hours that we needed her for. Future Star Academy is a cozy home based daycare. She took my son when he was barely two months and in the time he's been there she's treated him as if he were her own. Her kindness and love for children is unparalleled. But what I love most is that my son learns. She is constantly teaching him new things and I ever have more children, wouldn't blink an eye to bring them to her.

If you want your kids in a safe loving environment then this is the place to leave them. Ms. Rose works with closely with them introducing the alphabet, numbers, and spelling! I was amazed when my 3 year old knew how to spell her name and her brothers 8 letter name! I love Ms. Rose but most importantly so do my children.
