Friendly's

Ice cream is good the service is horrible at first it was never like this, we use to go here maybe twice a month maybe more. If it was one time that service was bad then I might say fine not that it's s good thing but 2 or 3 times then that's not good. Not once does the waitresses come and ask if everything is okay. Today we just went for ice cream and we waited for 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. Then the manager says it's slow well maybe there needs to be a few changes.

Good food, great ice cream! The service is hit or miss, it depends on the who your server is and when you go.

When I went to Friendly's the other day, I was just going there for some takeout ice cream. It took me about 5 minutes of just standing in the front for someone to recognize that I was there and nobody seemed to care to serve me. Eventually, the manager who spoke hardly any english came to finally serve me my ice cream. He seemed very annoyed at the fact that he had to help me and very uninterested in the entire process. He even went on to try and help a woman behind me instead of continuing my order. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience at Friendly's but it certainly will be the last. I will not be returning any time soon.

Hate to say this about my local restaurant but today 05-12-2013, (mother's day) the service was terrible.... Asked for a single cone and was overcharged plus the service size was actually a "kids cone" (the people behind the counter were inexperienced).

The response from the manager after I complained was less than adequate, (similar bad attitude to something I've seen on Undercover Boss).

Hopefully this was just a "fluke" or a thing with the weekend crew.

The host at the front (husky an older man) rude & unfriendly. He I asked me if he can help me I told him I would to have breakfast. He said that they already have all the grills on high heat & they don't serve a breakfast now (the is the most idiotic comment that I ever heard). And add to his stupidity he hand me out a few menus among them the breakfast menu. Thereafter here come the young waiter charging without a smile in his face refusing to Listen to the customer's request shooting his mouth and wants to serve you the food he picks for you. Finally after a long wait here comes the food which looks like an outdated a piece wood and taste like it. It took sometimes for my check to arrive I paid it & left no tip. The place is in lack of professionalism. I did not taste the ice cream but the food & the service are definitely terrible.
