Foukas George DDS

From my very first visit at the office, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the staff and the pleasant environment of the office itself. He is a professional and has a great down to earth personality. I would recommend Dr. Foukis to everyone. He is the best dentist I have ever had.

Had situation similar to the first reviewer, where I had a bad toothache and needed help fast. Having recently moved, I hadn’t yet selected new dentist. I asked some coworkers for recommendations and ended up going to some sadist in Verona who told me it was an abscess and that I absolutely needed a root canal. When I asked for another option, he gave me a script for a harsh antibiotic (which, he warned, would make me “very sick to my stomach”).

Feeling uncomfortable with this experience, I went to Dr. Foukas for a second opinion. He also diagnosed it as an abscess, but he suggested I try an antibiotic BEFORE undergoing a root canal. I showed him the script from the previous dentist. Dr. Foukas felt that the medication that the other dentist had prescribed was unnecessarily strong, and gave me a script for amoxicillin. The amoxicillin worked, and I haven’t had trouble since.

Dr. Foukas was more highly recommended by my coworkers than the other dentist, and the only reason I didn’t go to him in the first place was because the other dentist gave me an appointment first, and was actually able to see me sooner. I have since made Dr. Foukas my primary dentist and have been to his office twice since. It is always a pleasant, easy experience, and the people who work there are very friendly and professional. Quite a few of the people from my office are his patients!

Had a major toothache and he took me in on a snow storm day. Turned out I needed a root canal which was also done the same day. I Highly recommend Dr Foukas.
