HORRIBLE! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

On Saturday, I took a suit jacket that had a thread sticking out to be fixed and the man at the store said he would have to ask his wife if she could fix it and since she wasn't in on that day, he said he would call me on Monday (when she works) to tell me if she could fix it. No phone call ever came on Monday and so I stopped by after work in the evening and he had already done as he wished and "fixed" the suit in his own way without consulting me. He tightened the thread so that there was a visible solid line about 4 inches long across the suit so that I can't wear it anymore. Very upset considering it was a 2 week old custom tailored suit.

I complained that he had made the initial problem worse but he said he had 20 years experience and that he knew what he was doing and this is the best anyone can do. Then he said the job took 30 minutes so he was charging me 15 dollars. 15 bucks to fix a single loose thread and not even a good job done! No material costs went into the job either. It's not like he used a rubber sole to fix the heel of a shoe. So frustrating and dissapointed.

Tried to reason with him that he never asked me if his way of "fixing" the suit was alright, never called me before he "fixed" it as he promised, charged me 15 bucks for a job that requires no material costs and I never authorized that he do. He just did it on his own. HORRIBLE. He didn't even speak or understand English well so I couldn't even discuss the issue with him. Left the store with a ruined custom suit and 15 dollars less in my pocket. Never going again.

I brought 2 pairs of boots in, one for heels and one for heels and soles. I made it clear that I didn't want the repairs done with nails. When they were ready (took 5 days), both boots were full of nails. They tried to argue with me, then suggested just pulling the nails out, leaving me with holes all over the bottom of the boots. Finally they re-did them, with dripped glue and uneven surfaces. Worse, they added an extra layer to cover the re-do, which changed the heel height and threw the boots out of alignment. Nobody there speaks English, so I couldn't even explain the problem (not that I trusted them to fix it at that point.) After a "full and frank discussion" (they spoke enough English to refuse to refund my money), they removed the heels from one pair of boots and gave me my money back for them. NOT a happy experience.
