Flaming Burrito

We ordered from here all the time. For the area its one of the only places one can actually order vegetarian options. My advice is to order from here, don't sit down to eat here as it smells a little bit funky (I have allergies and can't breathe in the restaurant).

Okay first trip here and last. I order take out. I see a pan go aflame and smoke fills the place. 3 firetrucks come to stop the piercing alarm I sat through. I asked the guy, hope that was not my steak burrito, he laughs and says no. I get home - sure enough burned... Also the enchilada dumb down [platter of two with a TON of rice] - horrible and pricey. To top it off there was enough salsa for 1/4 of burrito and they would not substitute out a vegetable for beans in the burrito BUT they would charge me $3 extra for some what looked like grocery store bagged veggie salad mix. Did I forget to mention all this joy was $23 and it smelled like kerosene inside the joint. TRUTH - this is the first review of any place I have EVER submitted but I had to so you don't get taken - go elsewhere.

It's rare to find restaurants where the food, decor, and service all come together as well as Flaming Burrito. Since I moved to the neighborhood, I've been impressed time and time again with the quality at this place. The first time I had it, I walked into their restaurant. I was greeted and sat by a very nice hostess who also seems to take phone orders, and is a pleasure to speak with. Their decor is colorful and festive, and matches the quality of the food about to be ordered.

I've also called for delivery about a dozen times, and the quality has been consistent. I love knowing that I am going to get a wonderful meal when I order from this place. They offer generous portions with a made-at-home flair and quality that is rare to find. My favorites are their mini portions of their burritos. I like these because they include a fresh salad with italian dressing that compliments the smaller (but still filling) burrito that it's paired with. If you're in West New York or Weehawken, and are hungry, do yourself a favor and stop by Flaming Burritos.
