Fitness Center For Women Only

The positive reviews left here are from management and the trainers themselves. I put up a post on CL about the cost of a membership and I got an email from a supposed female member when it was actually the trainer himself. To make matters worse, it read "I love the Fitness Center. I lost 20 pounds and am in great shape thanks to Chris. He's a doll and handsome too!"
You're not fooling anyone by signing your name "Justine" or "Cindy" at the end of the email when the email account shows up in my inbox as Chris Siri.

The classes are great and plentiful. The staff is friendly and the childcare is excellent. I love that it is never busy and all women. It is clean as well. My only complaint is the equipment is outdated and often broken and not repaired for months. They need to get some new machines and add some new circuit machines or stairmaster/rowing machines as well. But overall, it is a good gym, esp for those just starting out.

The idea of women only is cool but the gym is very outdated. The equipment is just as bad. Their customer service is nothing to brag about. I would not bother. Take your money elsewhere.

This club seems like a great fit for most women at the start, and maybe for someone else the limited classes, tired machines, tiny lockers, no towel service and poor air circulation are enough, but I never found the gym all that interesting or effective. And worse, my experience getting out of the contract, even after my membership had expired, was filled with unanswered phone calls, bad attitude, and expensive red tape. Don't bother with this gym - if you need childcare while you work out, go to the Y.
