They have good coffee and some spots to chill, but not a great place to do much work if that's what you're looking for. Also, the chocolate is way better than the food.

This place is has recently been inspected by the health department. Grade pending (47) as of June 30 - July 6, 2016 in the Our Town/Downtowner paper. Evidence of mice or live mice present in facility's food and/or non-food areas.
NOPE. WILL NOT EVER BE EATING NOR DRINKING ANYTHING FROM HERE.

Chelsea has a surplus of coffee houses around 23rd street, but the Fika on 9th has the advantage of a big location with a generous amount of seating and tables. It's got the size of a chain coffee place with better brew and more seating than the Starbucks location on 20th and 8th. Because it's not on the same block as a subway station it also tends to have some seats left by the time you arrive.
