My family and I have been going here for well over 35 years -- since it was on Route 4, long before moving here.
The food is amazing and authentic, a foodie's paradise. Take the menu as a suggestion, the kitchen is flexible. Just have a good time.
Easily the best Mexican food in NJ. My recommendation is to try the mole chili con queso as an appetizer, with either a crisp (fried tortilla topped with cheese and peppers) or a nacho (fried tortilla with refried beans, cheese, and jalapeño). For a main, if you like spicy, do a napalito enchilada in green sauce. Their chili relleño is a good standby, and a pork burrito in mole is another. For vegetarians, go with a guacamole tostada.

It may take a little time to come out if extremely busy but I LOVE this place. I eat here weekly with my boyfriend (sometimes twice). Seat yourself and enjoy the made to order perfection. If you're lucky enough you'll even get to sample some of the "secret menu" - and if you don't top it off with a mango margarita you're doing yourself a disservice (regular and raspberry are great too)!

Best authentic cooked from scratch mexican food in the area. The cheese is seriously to die for. I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. oh and YES there is a wait for your food...because they're actually COOKING IT.

Fiesta Hut is a local favorite and frankly it deserves more success than it has. They offer simple but delicious Mexican fare which I'd take over any fusion/gourmet taco craze that's going on. Once upon a time, service was slow, but there are a few new staff members that really help. If you've been there before, no matter what your experience was, you can tell it's a true labor of love.
