Fernando Corticinho, owner of "Fc Certified Appraisals LLC" does not know the basics of home appraisals. I had a nightmare of an experience with him. The appraisal he did for my property was full of mistakes. Simple things like number of elevators, whether the condo had a balcony/view or not were wrong in the appraisal. He did not report that the apartment came with a deeded parking spot. I ended up requesting another appraisal. He could have cost me a refinancing and a lot of money. Do yourself a favor and if he shows up to your house for appraising your property, just ask him to leave and contact your lender to request another appraiser. YOU WILL DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR.
