Reviews to Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/Times Square
This is one of the best hotels in mid-town, great staff and rooms are well kept. The roof deck is also has a great view of lower Manhattan. The biggest knock on this hotel is that it is usually very crowded for breakfast and the elevators take a REAL long time to arrive.

Small but clean and well appointed rooms have everything you need. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and great location for getting around. Not so pretty outside, but I felt very safe. Get up early if you want breakfast downstairs, or just plan to use a tray and eat in your room. No refrigerators and busy elevators were my only issue... even so, I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel, good location, good price, clean. Building is however near the parole building so that is a bit of a draw back, hardly major thi.

Clean and convenient, with great friendly staff. Fair price for the area. Good unpretentious hot breakfast. Skip the sit-down area breakfast line by simply taking your food up to your room. Blazing-fast and free Wi-Fi, the best I've experienced at a hotel so far. I could think of only one inconvenience, and that's the occasional 2- to 3-minute wait for an elevator during peak times. I'd stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Showed up to this place to celebrate my 5 yr anniversary. Upon arrival valet was nice, tried to get us $10 off the SUV price. Arrived to our room on the 11th floor to find our king bed was 2 twin beds. Called front desk and was told all rooms with king sized beds were taken and there was no guarantee with using a 3rd party site. When I gave them my confirmation number that was given when I purchased thru Fairfield they said "OH that is one of our confirmation numbers, I don't know what happened. I'll make sure I talk to a supervisor and make it up to you". When I went to the front desk the receptionist was unaware of anything that was going on and when I mentioned to her the situation she stated "this is what happens when you use a 3rd party site" when I mentioned I booked thru the Fairfield it was like she had her foot in her mouth and all of a sudden was easily able to get me a king size bed in another room. After a concert we figured we would check out the sky room, a bar that was bragged about as the 2nd highest bar in nyc. When we tried to go there on a Thursday night at 11:30 we were told it was closed for low activity.
