I have been ordering glasses and contacts here for years and the gentleman I deal with is always lovely and helpful. The Doctor has been the same woman and she seems good. She is not always there but I live in the neighborhood and had no issues getting an appt.

Rude, uninformed, and dishonest about insurance. I went in for an eye exam, which my insurance covers, because I thought I had an eye infection. Dr. Sung told me the eye exam was only to get contacts or glasses. If I didn't want contacts or glasses, I'd have to pay out of pocket for an eye exam in order to get a prescription. She said my insurance didn't cover writing me a prescription. I called my insurance and they said that was ridiculous. So I went to another optician and they gladly wrote me a prescription. Avoid Dr. Sung at all costs. She doesn't know what she's talking about, or is blatantly committing insurance fraud.

I have now tried 3 times to make an appointment with these dim wits. Each time they say they'll call me back with the optometrist's availability, but the call never comes. And each time the guy seems to be at a total loss when answering the most basic of questions. On top of that they use VOIP for their phones, but don't have enough bandwidth, making it very hard to hear and understand what they're saying. I was trying to do the right thing and support a local small business, but they're really not worth the trouble.
