High quality cocktails in a cozy, relaxed setting. The bartenders are friendly and really know how to craft these drinks. They're sophisticated, inventive, fun, and overall delicious.

The drinks are ok (though worse than in the past), and the atmosphere is fine. Apparently they now enforce a 20% tip (on top of posted prices, without informing you) which I guess is why it's almost empty on a Friday night. And why service was still slow, apathetic, and inattentive. I really used to like this place but won't be back anymore. A real shame.

Beautiful savage. .. what more do you need? The only beer on tap is Estrella Damn so you KNOW this place is legit. I love this place, great music!

The bartender has no concept of hospitality. The drinks were little lists of ingredients, but they didn't understand the fundamentals of making a drink. When I asked about the odd use of crushed ice in a egg cocktail, the bartender was condescending and also, wrong. The drink has 7 ingredients, but tastes like an over sugared sour, served like a swizzle, with a garnish of tattered basil. The music was too loud to talk even though the place was nearly empty. This bar was a perfect storm of every mistake you can make in a cocktail bar, including the rude drivel on the back of their menu ( and a happy hour menu in orange ink on red paper! no one can read that). I'm happy to never go back.

Stumbled into Evelyn on a rainy Friday night around 1am and I loved it, mainly because there weren't a lot of people. I heard it is usually packed, so if you like your bars with seats go when it rains! Got a table for my group of 6 in the front section and we all ordered the very dangerous punch which goes down like a juice box. Really great atmosphere, dim lighting, great for a date or night out with good friends.
