Pretty park, great view, SERIOUS SPLINTER HAZARD!!! Do NOT let your kids touch those fun-looking, undulating wooden walkway things. Our son barely noticed the DOZENS of splinters he got from climbing over one of the logs for about two seconds -- but having them removed by an ER surgeon was a different, painful, tear-filled story.
Nice of the park folk to use the wood reclaimed from the old piers, but the decades of weathering have rendered it untouchable.
