I stopped in here on a rainy, quiet Tuesday evening and was the first patron around 5:45pm. I bellied up to the bar where I was greeted by a friendly bartender who shared their happy hour specials through 7pm. I enjoyed a deliciously spicy but cool "spicy chill" cocktail and their sticky wings which were perfectly spicy and sweet. I'll definitely return for brunch with unlimited cocktails. Loved the decor and vibe here.

I came here on a Thursday evening with a couple of friends for a small celebration.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the staff. During the entire meal they were very attentive.
I ordered the chicken and dumplings and it was very delicious. I also had a glass of Pinotage (South African wine) and I have to say that it was a great choice.
The menu selections are small but varied menu, which tells me that the restaurant knows what they are good at and they stick to it - and it shows in the excellent quality.
Why 5 Stars: Great food, attentive service, Good menu selection and prices, good atmosphere (perfect for small groups/date)
I would definitely return.

The restaurant is very small, with only about 12 tables. No table is larger than for 4 persons. On one side of the restaurant is a bar with stools. You could eat at the bar, if you want to. I went for brunch. There is an "all you could drink" men, which consists of bloody Mary's, belini, and/or mimosa. You could drink "all you want" for an hour. When I first arrived the restaurant was empty, but it filled up within the hour. There is not a large choice for brunch, mostly egg dishes. I tried the shrimp and grits. I was a little bit disappointed. I have had shrimp 'n grits down south. The dish was much better there. I was surprised to find sausage in the shrimp 'n grits. If you are vegan, this is not the dish for you. No bread or rolls were served with the entree. I ordered turkey bacon, crispy. I received turkey bacon, which was burnt. My waitress was terrible. The busboy was a better server, and should have been the wait person. Brunch for one came to just under $50. I thought that this was very expensive for the area and the meal.

I'm excited about what Elberta has to offer the neighborhood. They have a great atmosphere, wonderful service, and an expansive menu. Plus I love southern food!
I was a little bummed that the food wasn't quite here. Let's be fair, they're relatively new and are still figuring things out. The food is okay, ingredients are high quality and fresh. However, the flavors were not quite bright enough or flavorful enough. Everything was a little bland.
That said, at the end they asked for our comments and seemed to take it all seriously, so I am confident they'll be improving and I'm looking forward to trying them out again.
