Went for drinks late. Staff were a bit inattentive, but the decor and vibe were nice. Prices higher than expected for the neighborhood. Well made drinks though, no skimping.

I stopped by yesterday and was very pleased. Great Atmosphere. The food was EXCELLENT! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I was surprised to see the some of the other reviews but then realized the reviews were made prior to the management who is now running it. I hope people reading the reviews realize there is a new vibe with the NEW El Sombrero restaurant. You will regret not giving this spot another try! I had the skirt steak quesadillas for appetizer and the Salmon over sweet plantain Mofongo sitting on a special house coconut sauce and washed it all down with a delish frozen mango mojito! The new owner, Junior, is approachable and an awesome host! Thanks for the recommendations! :)

Will be visiting again very soon!
