The food was very good. I had the lamb and chicken skewers and fish and chips. The location is nice with ample street parking.

I go there quite a bit. It's one of the best bars in New Jersey if not the New York metro. Food is good, consistent and reasonably priced. If they were to change anything I would suggest they refresh the menu a bit more often. While they have some great staples it would be nice to see maybe some specials or maybe seasonal dishes. Before Egans Montclair had no upscale bar ..Egans has been good for Montclair.

dinner last night and was really fresh and good. lamb burger was excellent. I had the standard burger which wasnt standard at all and cooked to perfection. mixed green salad had just a coating of dressing instead which was perfect. quite a good selection of beers on tap and bottle. very impressed.
