This is an absolute disgrace to the restaurant business. The owner and the staff of this place is absolutely non professionals and should not be in the business. Place is dirty. Also they are so griddy that they served liquor to already drunk woman with a child and when she passed out they called a car service and through her in the car. When driver asked what is he suppose to do with her the reply from the owner was "and what are we supposed to do with her?" The woman ended up in ther back if ambulance with police presents and the child probably in child services thanks to those crooks. Would the rejected to serve her non of this would of happen.

We visited Obzhora a year ago for my birthday party. The food was good, but the pricing strategy... They use deceiving methods. For example when you order something they will recommend you something else and you may assume that it is in the similar price range - but it is not!. Always ask them how much before you order something.
We spend 800 (no alcohol) for the party of 10 people - but it is too much for this level of restaurant. Our planned budget was about 450, so discovering on the bill the price of their "recommended items" was not the most pleasant moment.

Called for a delivery, creepy dude suggested to come over and cooks in my house!

Administration: teach your staff phone etiquette. One of them is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.

It took me more than 6 month to write review for this café.
We went after my mother’s funeral for a family branch. My husband made reservations 2 days prior.
We spoke on the phone a few times since we had questions in regard to the liquor and food.
Since they charge for the liquor, like every other place they told me that I can bring my own liquor.
I was expecting a normal café food, but fried potatoes were had so much salt that it was impossible to eat. Meet was undercooked and hard, no one could eat it. You can imagine how everything else was.
I was devastated and in no mood to argue, everyone else out of their intelligence did not want to make a big deal and make me even more upset, so everyone kept quiet, but almost did not eat anything. Half of my guest already left and my husband had to leave to take some of the people home before the desert was served. A waiter came up to me and asked how many pastries I want to put on the table.
I told him to see how many people left and to bring coffee, tea and Napoleon pastries for everyone. He brought pastries for twice as many people I had left. Each pastry was cut in half. I did not say anything and thought that I’ll take it home. I have to be honest and let you know that I did not see who eat what and their reaction on the face from everything that was served that day.
I had a bite of the pastry and almost chocked on it. I called the waiter and asked him how many months ago was this pastry backed? It was dry and stale with no cream in it at all. As a mentioned before each portion was cut in half and each half had exactly 2 small bites.
My husband arrived exactly at the time when bill needed to be paid. I was glad, because I was not in any condition to deal with anything that moment.
We were charged for each ½ of the Napoleon portion $5.75. This means that for each 2 bites of the DRY cookie you are paying $5.75. Price is like in exclusive French bakery in the city.
For each bottle of our liquor we were charged either $3 or $5, I do not remember already, but I think it was $5.00.
We paid our bill in cash and requested a receipt. Next day when my husband looked at the receipt he realized that we were charged tax 2 times. It was already way too much and he went to speak to the owner on the café. She recalculated our bill and apologized for the mistake and all the hidden charges that we were never informed at the time making the reservation in person.
He also told her about the Napoleon pastry and that we were charged for each ½ of the pastry like for the whole, and that they were old and stale. Waiter was asked to put on the table pastries for 6 people, but placed for 15 guests.
My husband told her that the whole experience in her join was terrible and complete waste of money.
We were there first and last time. I encourage all who is reading this to go to other places were food is always fresh and tasty. Do not waste your money and think of your stomach.
This is first time in my life that I have to write such a terrible feedback, but I wish someone else would do it before I went there.
