WHAT EVER YOU DO... DO NOT GO TO EAST WEST BRIDALS in Secaucus, NJ!
I wanted to write this review today to hopefully WARN people about this business going forward based on my personal experience, my mothers experience, and my mother & sister-in-law's experience. I am absolutely appalled with this business, the staff, and the owner!!
I brought my family there to find dresses for my wedding. We chose the dresses. No one was there to help us find anything. When we went into the fitting room, the ladies were extremely rude and said that they were saving the empty dressing rooms for brides, which never showed up..The owner, Gary was pacing back and forth through the fitting rooms which made all the ladies EXTREMELY uncomfortable!! I felt like he was being PERVERTED!! We eventually decided to purchase the gowns, the lady who was helping us seemed as though she had no clue of what she was doing. She told us that the gowns will be delivered to New Jersey no later than June.
June comes around.. NO GOWNS... July comes around... NO GOWNS....
My mother called and asked when they would arrive. Gary, the owner was SO NASTY to her. He said they are coming from China and are not here yet. My Mother-in-law was getting worried as well and gave them a call. Gary again answered the phone and was extremely rude to her. He made up some lie that it was coming from California and the factories are on strike. My mom called back, Gary again lied to her and said they were now coming from the mid-west.
TO TOP IT OFF!!!! My mom went there today to get her gown. Once again, Gary and now the seamstress lady were so rude and bad-mannered. My mom asked Gary if he would be so kind to give her a discount on the alterations for all the trouble he has put her through.. My mom assumed he did, got in the car, looked at her receipt and realized he charged her $150 for alterations. When she went back in to get the alterations refunded and take her dress back, the seamstress went absolutely psycho on her and got PHYSICAL!!!!!!!!!!!
My mom was so shook up she went outside and had to call the police! The police asked my mom if she wanted to press charges because she had visible marks on her! arms.

Me being the bride, this has added an extra level of stress to an already stressful event of planning my own wedding. I am a business owner myself, and I cannot believe someone that runs a business would act like this!! HORRIBLE!!!!!
