Reviews to East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram SRT
We just leased a new jeep from East Hills and we were thrilled with the service we received. We dealt with James Kropp and he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Each time my husband called he returned his calls promptly and even asked us to send over certain paperwork in advance to speed up our wait time when we arrived to pick up the car. The car was ready when we arrived and James took the time to walk us through all the features of the new car. We liked him a lot and would definitely recommend dealing with him if you buy or lease from this dealership. Thank you!

I brought my 2011 JK in to replace my rear gears. Besides the fact that the technician could not identify the gear ratio that was on my modified Jeep, the job that was done was abominable. They kept my Jeep there for about a month and charged me a reduced fee of $920 for the job. When they finally said the job was done they claimed that it was still binding and needed a new ham. They claimed the part alone would be $2000. I then had the Jeep flat towed to my trusted Jeep mechanic in Deer Park. He had been told by the East Hills mechanic that it was the elocker that needed replacement. When my mechanic opened the pumpkin he saw the reason for the binding was not that it needed a new elocker but that he had installed the gears backwards and left it in a locked position. The poor installation also included metal shavings and dirt left inside the housing, a bent spring, a misaligned ring and a HAMMERED in elocker to make the job fit. My mechanic had to remove and clean the entire housing and parts and replace parts that I had just paid for with new ones. Also he saw that old parts were reused and not even replaced. East Hills should be ashamed of themselves. If the job was beyond their scope of ability they just should have said so.

This is a Review about the Service dept. Overall the Service agents are nice, but they keep selling services that are not needed for my car. The service dept needs to train them better in what is needed on certain cars/ and not generalize. There are service manuals and manufacturer recommendations. The car's owner manual has a list of services that need to be done. if its not listed, it doesn't need to be done. Now trying to sell me a throttle body cleaning for $175 when the throttle body on my car is not serviceable/cleanable is ridiculous. Just a recommendation to all the readers, read your owners manual and have it with you when you go get your car serviced so you don't accidentally buy some snake oil.

I went in to lease a car for the first time and Jesse made it a seamless process. He took his time to make sure we got what we really wanted and more importantly, he worked within our budget. Arnie, the business manager, was very helpful with the final process. Would highly recommend this dealership! Definitely ask for Jesse!
