I was traveling through New Jersey when I had a tire failure after having my new tires for less than 11,000 miles and less than 6 months. I went to East Coast VW because they were the closest VW dealer (I originally bought the tires at another VW Dealer because of the road hazard insurance included). When I called they said they were a certified VW Dealer and they had the tire in stock.

When I got there and they were replacing my tire, they informed me that they were not going to honor the warranty and I would have to go the tire manufacturer, which is not what their own website says.
