I would not recommend this place. Yes the hours are amazing for full time working parents but the children are in front of the tv most of the day. I went for an interview close to 11am and the kids were getting restless(you can tell they have been in front of the tv for a while). The 2 female assistant who are downstairs are horribe, they told one of the kids who was crying to throw up already!! And the other child who was crying that she didnt know why theey were crying. So they basically ignored them. I'm very observant and its just rediculous for the price especially for babies to be left in bouncers.

I was thrilled to have found this day care! When I first started my baby she was only 8 weeks old. My husband didn't want me to go back to work. As soon as we left Dyker Heights Family Day Care after the initial tour, my husband turned to me and said - "well I guess you can go back to work now."
My baby is now 4 and we are starting to look for a good Pre K program. I am so nervous about leaving this day care.
They take wonderful care of the children. I wish they were a Pre K also.
The girls that work here really love the kids. They even gave me there personal cell phone numbers so I could text them while at work to check on my daughter.

Dyker Heights Daycare is not worth the money!
Kids just watch TV all day and caregivers doesn't CARE at all!
My kids are so happy to get out at the end of the day.
Sometimes I often think they have TOO many kids in such a small space, plus there is virtually no outside time!
