Durante Rentals - Bronx

DO NOT RENT ANYTHING THERE!
I rented a scissor lift today for few hours.
Everything went well until their driver came to pickup the lift.
He drove the lift out with full speed damaging door sill.
Earlier that day I drove in and out couple times (slowly) and door sill was fine.
I spoke to Chris and Anthony and they told me that the concrete under that door sill was faulty and that I should contact my contractor! RIDICULOUS!
I thought they are rental company not concrete specialists!
They refuse to fix the sill!

I was only doing a weekend project with a few day laborers, but didn't have what i needed. The equipment is in great condition, and even bought a high pressure washer from them.

I now have an account, and will be back for future jobs.

Equipment was in excellent condition. Very professional company. Made our life extremely easy. Helped us on short notice and their rates are the cheapest around!

We run an out-of-state construction firm that has only worked in the NYC area on a few projects. Practically every project has been a logistical nightmare, largely due to the fact of not knowing who to depend on when it comes NY suppliers - there are just way too many. On our latest project we were referred to Durante Rentals by a subcontractor. As usual, the best references come by word-of-mouth. Everyone we dealt with at Durante Rentals was courteous, patient, and best of all KNOWLEDGEABLE about their products AND their customers' needs. They also had an incredible selection which took the stress out of those emergency calls for the equipment you didn't know you needed!! HIGHLY recommend and intend on using them in the future.

I have nothing but great things to say about the management, products and the service provided by this company. The equipment always works as promised. It's always provided as I need it, when I need it, and where I need it. Best of all - the prices are the lowest I have found in the area. I definitely recommend this place for equipment rental.
