Dragon Spirit Mixed Martial Arts

My daughter Ava has been a student here since her 4th birthday. She is eight and a half now, and truly loves what she does. There is never an argument about 'having' to go because she genuinely looks forward to her training. She attends MMA classes twice a week and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 3 days a week. Not only has she learned how to defend herself but she has also gained a self confidence that she carries with her daily. It is a friendly place where I have made great friends as well. It is like a second home to Ava where she feels comfortable to be herself. Marcos and Abe are professional while still making it fun for kids. They are approachable and friendly while being extremely knowledgeable, and I always know Ava is in good hands with them. I know she will no doubt be there for many years to come.

We have been part of the DSMA school for years. My son and I both enjoy the classes offered at the school. Mr. T and his DSMA Team will evolve your children into champions both on and off the mat. Our son has become stronger mentally, physically, and socially. Each team member has strong coaching abilities and will guide each student to become the best of their abilities.

Dragon spirit Martial arts has one of the BEST Jiujitsu instructors in NY/NJ area. I have been a student of his (Marcos Duarte)for a few years now and there are very few people out there that have the charisma, patience, and knowledge that it takes to be a great teacher!! If you've never heard of him or taken his class, you are definitely missing out. Seriously..
They also have a great children's program! Master Pete Tuccino (Mr T) is the best!! Everyone loves him and it's no secret why...
