Dr. William M. Schiff, MD

Dr. Schiff did an outstanding job repairing my difficult retina detachment. I was concerned I might lose my vision permanently but he came highly recommended by my retina specialist in Connecticut. He has a reputation for repairing difficult retina detachments and correcting retina procedures that were poorly done by other surgeons. My retina specialist in Connecticut checked my retina after Dr. Schiff repaired it and he said he did a perfect job of repairing it with scleral buckle. I highly recommend Dr. Schiff for anyone needing any type of retina repair. He also had excellent bedside manner and was friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the process. My doctor moves from New York Presbyterian to North Shore University Hospital in 64th Street, I usually sees every 6 months as I sees Dr. Schiff in North Shore University Hospital of Manhattan at their new Department of Ophthalmology at 210 East 64th Street, 7th Floor, New York, so Last time I sees Dr. Schiff last year and says my eye were fine but in the future, he will refer me to the eyesight restoration specialist to get my eyesight back in my left eye to get my vision correct.
