Reviews to Dr. Viki Papathanasiou - MD
I found Dr. Viki and The Doctor's Office Urgent Care literally by accident when referred there via a worker's comp claim.
I found the staff to be well organized and professional as well as friendly and compassionate.
Dr. Viki is a skilled physician with a pleasant and informative bedside manner. I found her to be thorough and caring and her diagnosis was spot on.
What impressed me most was the time she was willing to spend making sure I understood my treatment options, limitations and expectations.

Such a wonderful addition to my neighborhood! My family and I finally have a reliable place to go when we are sick! The staff and and doctors are caring, knowledgeable, and always make us feel comfortable! The office is beautiful, spotless, and spa-like! My husband and I have even started using them as our primary doctor because it is much more convenient than any other option.

Staff was rude!! The only thing they knew or what was important to them was to take our copay as well as our insurance! They give false information as far as what type of insurance they take. They are not participating with any other type of BCBS expect PPO since March 1st... so why take our insurance when that's our first and initial question we asked? Who wants to get stuck paying a $300 bill when only seen for a quick second?!!?! We definitely don't intend in going back!! Not worth the time and money!

I have been to the DOctor's Office twice and I was not impressed either time. Last visit was for pneumonia but the doctor could not diagnose it. She said they don't have the labs or the ability to do the testing and told me to go to the ER. So what good are you if you can't do some basic tests? By the way, and 2nd year medical student is normally trained to diagnose Pneimonia with a basic stethoscope or a simple x-ray. The waiting room has a loud tv that is very irritating when you are sitting their for an hour until the doctor will see you. For an URGENT Care facility, their attitude is anything but URGENT they should call it Lackadaisical Care Facility. I will not come back again to the Doctor's Office in Paramus and I will not take my family there either. Valley Hospital is just another 5 minutes away.

I went here after experiencing an allergic reaction/skin rash one weekend. Not intense enough to go to the emergency room, but uncomfortable enough to not want to wait until the weekday to see a doctor. After a really long wait in the waiting room, I waited for a really long time in the examining room. Not terrible- I expected to wait at a walk-in clinic on a Sunday. The doctor was really nice but gave me a "shrugs shoulders" type of answer, and a recommendation to see a dermatologist. The co-pay is a specialist's co-pay so after waiting a couple of hours and being told we're not sure what's wrong with you, I was out $40. I suppose this place is better for a common cold type of issue. The front desk reception was typical board college-age workers but they did call to follow up with my experience at the office.
