Dr. Steven D. Kaplan, DMD

A few months ago, I was dealing with the worst-black out-awful pain you could ever imagine on my second to last top molar. Within just 40 minutes of contacting his office (early on a busy Friday morning) and telling them my emergency, Dr. Kaplan allowed me to come in ASAP. From that very first phone call, I felt a sense of confidence in Dr. Kaplan and his staff. Without even knowing me, they were very concerned and caring over the phone. I was nervous, frustrated, and in a incredible amount of pain when I was about to meet with Dr. Kaplan. However, Dr. Kaplan entered the room with a positive and calm energy. He explained to me thoroughly what was going on with my tooth and what had to be done to stop it. Dr. Kaplan is unbelievably knowledgeable in what he does. Everything made sense and I felt a huge amount of relief that everything was going to be ok. Dr. Kaplan went out of his way to make time for my emergency root canal. By no means of joking, this doctor saved my life. It was sure a process to get my tooth back to normal, but it was a very enjoyable and stress free experience. Dr. Kaplan and his staff stayed in contact with me after every procedure. These guys ACTUALLY CARE about their patients more than their job description could ever say. They go out and beyond to make sure everything is done well and right. Dr. Kaplan and his staff work an insane amount and I have the highest respect for them. I HIGHLY recommend this endodontics group. EXCELLENT doctor and staff, trust me you will be in good hands!! Thank you Dr. Kaplan and staff for everything you did for me and what you do everyday. I would of never of thought receiving a root canal would actually be a fun experience. This world needs more dental professionals like you guys.

I first saw Dr. Steven Kaplan, when I had an emergency root canal, that was needed on my wisdom tooth, NO other dentist or endodontist wanted to deal with, since its alot easier to extract a wisdom tooth. When I first met Dr. Kaplan in the exam chair,he immediatly put all my fears to rest, and assured me that root canal on a wisdom tooth would not be any problem at all for him. Although I was extremely nervous to be there, I never felt ANY pain at all during the procedure. He even put on my favorite music the entire time for the 2 visits, and had me laughing the entire time I was there, with one story after another. Dr. Kaplan has such a calming demeanor, that along with him being a genius in his field
.
After my 2nd visit, when he told me it was all finished instead of being happy I was Sad to go, since I felt like , I was going to lose a good friend, thats how amazing he is. Dr. Kaplan also works from early morning to late evening, since there is always an emergency situation going on, that only he can handle, however this gem of a dentist never rushs, and takes all the time that is needed, even after the procedure, going over instructions very carefully. In my eyes , this endodontist is one in a million in my book, there is no one else like him.
