Dr. Rene S. Johe

As the time approached to find an orthodontist, I did what most mothers do and asked for recommendations. I ended up going with Dr. Johe and it was the best decision. The recommendations and then all I needed to do was look at the young teens he had worked on and how beautiful their teeth were , I knew he was the right choice. I can't say enough about his care and expertise, from the evaluation all the way through the beautiful smile and beyond. Four children later , the last one is just getting his braces, and I would only use and only recommend Dr. Johe.

Dr. Johe has taken excellent care of my son during the first phase of his orthodontic treatment. Firstly, I was very impressed with the thorough initial evaluation and follow-up parent conference during which Dr. Johe explained in detail what my son's issues were and the science behind the course of treatment he was recommending. He answered all of my questions without ever making me feel as if I was taking too much of his time. Every appointment thereafter has been excellent - no wait time (the office respects a parent's time!), sincere flexibility when scheduling appointments, and doctor availability during off hours in case of emergencies (like when my son crushed his retainer!). The office space itself is unbelievably child-friendly. Televisions on the ceiling above the treatment chairs so that the child can relax and actually watch his or her favorite show during treatment. Visually stunning waiting room and playroom - with video game consoles - to help put the child in the right state of mind. And the state of the art diagnosis equipment - out in a bright, airy and child friendly space so that the child is not scared off by a closed-off and dark room with big ugly machines. Most importantly, my son's teeth look amazing! In less than 9 months, with no extractions (Dr. Johe worked very hard to avoid that), and with very little pain and discomfort, my son's issues were corrected exactly as Dr. Johe had explained during the initial consultation. I highly recommend you visit this practice for your orthodontics and dentistry needs.

I have brought both my children here for two simple reasons:

1. The state of the art facilities.
2. Dr. Johe and Dr. Tong's expertise and gentle ways with my family.

I am so incredibly happy with my kids' progress and I cannot believe that I found a place where they actually look forward to going to see the orthodontist. Both my children have described their visits as fun (yeah, the game room does look kind of cool). I highly recommend it here. Trust me, you are not going to find a better place.
