Dr. Michael L. Castellano, MD

Twice I visited Dr. Castellano in his Brooklyn office. Both times I sat in a full waiting room for 45 minutes to an hour and then saw him walk in and start seeing patients, completely disrespecting waste of their valuable time and not even apologizing. His Brooklyn receptionist never answers the phone and does not return phone calls. She released results of a biopsy to me instead of me hearing it from the doctor. Unprofessional. On top of that, she calls patients "mama" when talking to them. On top of all this, I was not told that Dr. Castellano did not take my insurance when I was referred in office and they led me to believe that I was covered by insurance when they took my copay! Completely irresponsible on their part and now I am left with a $400 bill when I thought I was only giving a $20 copay. I would highly recommend NOT going to this doctor!!
