Dr. Marti Gilbert

Dr Gilbert is knowledgeable and sensitive to a woman's health and needs. She was the only one of 3 Dr.s I had seen for heavy bleeding due to fibroids who did not suggest a hysterectomy or surgical removal of my fibroid. After a biopsy, to my utter shock, she suggested I leave it alone and allow nature to take it's course. I was 48 at the time. If the 2nd Dr. had a surgeon in his office,( (out on maternity leave) I probably would have had the fibroid surgically removed for no reason at all.She allowed me to choose and she was absolutely right to sparing me surgery and giving me practical options with out surgical intervention. I would not see any physician who was eager to cut. I highly recommend her!! By the way, she actually returns your phone calls.
