Dr. Mark J. Brescia, MD

I had four children with Dr. Brescia's office with him and with Dr. Migliaccio and the staff. \They are loving and caring. I had no problems or complications with any of my pregnancies. To address a couple of the negative reviews though I don't know why anyone who claims they had to wait a month for test results would continue to wait around that long...you have legs, you have a car you have a telephone you get your ass down to the office and get the results. Don't use this bs you had to wait a month when you were perfectly capable of finding out the results sooner on your own. I call bs. And another thing why didn't your own personal doctor who should have been running blood tests and the like not catch the fact that the woman on here who said she had cancer thyroid cancer not catch it a simple T3 T4 thyroid panel run by your own doctor would have caught it. Then off to an endocrynologist you would have gone. The gyno is just that a gyno. your normal doctor's are the ones that are supposed to be catching these things and fixing them so stop passing the buck on Brescia...seriously ladies grow up.

If I could give negative stars to this man it still would not represent how much I loath him. I had a high risk pregnancy and he called me on the phone twice to tell me devasting news about my baby without answering any questions I had from the news. He told me to talk to my high risk dr who was not available at that time. He has no personality and should be removed from the profession. The other Drs in the practice are lovely but he is an embarrassment to the profession.

Brescia didn't get a blood test when I told him we were trying for children and his practice diagnosed me with thyroid cancer after my first trimester. Had he done the blood test we would've treated me before having children. There are terrible side effects to high hormone levels during pregnancy. Plus, one doctor didn't get the blood tests done correctly which lead to another month of waiting for the diagnosis. Then the last doctor for some reason wouldn't tell me what kind of cancer I had even though it was on all of the reports. I ended up spending this Christmas crying to my family that I could be giving my unborn child cancer through my blood which was not the case. They are impersonal and unprofessional.

I like Dr Brescia a lot. He is super honest (told a friend she was getting too fat while pregnant, she had put on more weight than she was supposed to)... so if your sensitive he might not be for you. But I really really liked him. I appreciate that honesty.

Also I had no problem with the office staff. On the contrary I found them very sweet and friendly. Perhaps they have changed staff since some of the old reviews?

I am surprised to read the negative reviews about Dr. Brescia.

He is an experienced and caring doctor. He helped delivery both of my kids. He saved my first baby's life, discovering fetal distress during labor and then performing an emergency C-section. For my second, I was able to have a natural birth. He was very caring and supportive throughout.

I cannot say enough good things about him as a doctor.
