Dr. James R. Pacholka, MD

I rate my experience four out of five because it would be odd to rate a surgery experience as "loved it !", but overall the experience with Dr. Pacholka and his staff was excellent, and would certainly return to Dr. Pacholka should I need a surgeon again. What made the experience a good one was that 1) Dr. Pacholka, in a friendly and unhurried manner, explained what the procedure entailed, what would happen during the surgery itself, and also provided some background medical information, 2) prior to the surgery itself, Dr. Pacholka was very reassuring and took time to explain what would be happening, and 3) during the surgery (local anesthesia) itself, Dr. Pacholka constantly what explained what he was doing, and if I was comfortable. After the surgery, the follow up was again, very patient-centered. His staff was very accommodating, particularly in scheduling a surgery appointment on very short notice, so as to accommodate my work schedule.

I had two operations with Dr. Pacholka, he was friendly and professional. He explained my issues in very detail and ensured I was fully understood. John, the assistant was great, he is polite and always replys to my emails promptly.

Dr Pacholka and his staff are very pleasant and efficient. Dr Pacholka explained the surgery needed and answered all questions with great care. On day of surgery because it was Dr Pacholka was not nervous at all and the surgery was a success.

Dr Pacholka was wonderful. He was patient and thorough in his explanations. His manner put me completely at ease. His staff was exemplary as was his choice of hospital for the procedure. Both he and his staff were readily available after the surgery for continued care and assistance. A truly wholesome experience for which I am very grateful.

Dr. Pacholka is amazing. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand without being condescending. He's got an excellent bedside manor and took his time with me. His staff is very accommodating and friendly, too. I would totally go back to him and would recommend him to my friends.
