Reviews to Dr. Elizabeth August
Follow up Nov 2015, it has been about 3 years I've been with Dr. August and still am very happy she is my pcp. Would rather change my insurance then not have her in my plan.

Dr. August is a great doctor who always made me feel comfortable.
I've been seeing her for 2 years now and I always have a positive experience with her and her staff.
I like that she is a quick doctor. She answers the questions I ask, gives me the information I need, and goes above and beyond with insurance and paperwork. If you want a doctor to chat for 10 mins about how your child's dance recital went then don't expect such short wait times.
She is also VERY knowledgeable and has helped diagnose health ailments with ease.
Bonus, she is connected with Hackensack Medical and when I had to stay there overnight with a recent surgery, she was kind enough to stop in and check up on me in the morning.
I'm surprised to see such negative reviews, she is quick, but always kind and helpful.
Let us also not forget how awesome the reception and nurse staff are here!

I know other people are writing poor reviews. But, I will say, on my first visit, I didn't feel confident either. But, that being said. She is actually a very kind and caring doctor. She is new in the profession and just getting her feet wet. If you talk to her, she will listen and answer questions and work with you. She is very knowledgeable, but, shy as well. It is part of her personality, not her professionalism. There is a short wait time because she moves quickly from patient to patient. That is a good thing.
By my second visit, when she knew me as a person and a patient, she was much more personable. I will say, once she gets to know you, she is wonderful and I have full confidence in her and believe in years to come, she will be know as one of the best health care professionals in the state.
Just be patient,no pun intended, and let her know all your symptoms and work with her. Keep in mind, when you show up to a doctor's office, the doctor has no idea of what you are going through, you need to let the doctor know everything so they can make the best possible judgement call.

I've been to the office 3 times. First time when I came I was informed that the doctor left early (that's ok, but could they have called me?) Second time the doctor spent less then 5 minutes with me and just ordered some blood work. I was not very happy and didn't want to see her again. But when I called the office about my lab results, they said I need to make an appointment. So I came to the office for the 3rd time and here comes the best part: The doctor comes in and introduces herself even though she just saw me a few days ago. (short memory, huh?) Then she asks me what I'm there for!! (of course, how would she know!) Then she quickly goes over my lab results without even mentioning any of my concerns, that I expressed during my first visit!! Then she quickly disappears to write a prescription and doesn't come back. Interestingly on her page in riversidemedgroup web site we see that she believes in “creating a life-long relationship with completely satisfied patients.”

I don't write reviews usually. But my experience with this doctor was so dissatisfying that i want others to know about. The front desk staffs, nurses, office cleanliness all were good and i would give 5 stars for them. But i wouldn't give even a single star for the doctor. During my visit, I explained the doctor about my health issue and she looked very careless to listen to it. After i finish, she didn't explain or give me any medical information that what could be the cause for the problem. I pulled the information from her what i needed by asking questions. She seemed like in a rush to run out of the room. she didn't even say bye and left the room, and i was totally in a confusion that what is next because she didn't tell me any. My meeting time with her was only 2-3 mins. They got my blood work, when i asked about the result, they said they will give call in a week. But they didn't come up with my result even after 2 weeks. I called up office 3 times and got it over the phone from a front desk attendant. Can't they have a nurse to call the patient and explain the test results. She is such an unprofessional doctor i have ever seen. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
