Dr. Dan Landmann - Cosmetic & Reconstructive Eyelid Surgery

Dr. Landmann and his staff are great. From my initial phone inquiry all the way through my office visit. I went to discuss issues I was having with my eyes/eyelids. Dr. Landmann made sure to sit and discuss the issue, (which seems to be an allergy) what can be done and what to expect moving forward. He took so much time and made sure not to rush through any of the information. Even if surgery is not what you are looking for, he can help with other eye issues that can be treated through prescription.

I met Dr. Landmann in the optometrist office that I currently work at. He came in to say hello to the doctor who owns the practice to introduce himself. We talked and I found out all the procedures he does. So, I decided to come in to see him for cosmetic reasons. WELL, I must write this review to say he has done the best procedure I have ever had. The results were amazing and I did not get side effects that I normally would get. I recommend Dr. Landmann fully. I will be making an appointment to see him again.

For the last 2 years I had noticed a significant change under my eyelids. I had prided myself on always being told I looked 10 years younger than my true 48 years of age. I knew that topical treatments could only do so much. After much research, I knew I wanted to find a board certified oculoplastic surgeon. I read many, many reviews on RealSelf and made my first consult with Dr. Landmann. I had also scheduled consultations with two other oculoplastic surgeons (both of which I cancelled after my consult with Dr. Landmann). Once I met with Dr. Landmann I knew I found the doctor for me. He's like the son every mother would want. Very personable, approachable and most importantly he asked and LISTENED. He wanted to address whatever bothered me. After spending a good uninterrupted 30-40 minutes with me, he advised his assistant would send a quote for the options we discussed which was either filler or lower eyelid surgery or a combination of both. I decided not to go BIG and to start small with fillers...no surgery. I made my concerns known to Dr. Landmann about nightmare stories I had read about bumps after lower eyelid filler. He assured me that the filler he planned to use, Belotero, was very pliable, similar to a water texture and not a hard gel. During the treatment, Dr. Landmann was ever the gentleman. I can't say enough how comfortable and reassuring he was. With the 1 vial of Belotero, we were able to fill my lower eye hollows, inject some into my parentheses, do a few vertical smile lines & fill two deep sleep wrinkles. Immediately after the procedure, Dr. Landmann gave me two icepacks to keep my face from swelling. You cannot (or should not) work out for 3-5 days after injections. I continued to ice my face for 48 hours...on and off every half hour except when sleeping. I had very little swelling and never really bruised. I am usually VERY sensitive to any procedures and was shocked at the easy recovery. Today is my 4 weeks post injections and I am happy with my eyes. I received a follow up call from Dr. Landmann the day after surgery. Today was 1 month since the injections and I received a call from his assistant. I did let his assistant know that the 2 deep wrinkles didn't seem to take as well as under the eyes and the parentheses and she advised he'd look at them at my upcoming follow up and would do whatever touch up we found was necessary. Bottomline, I know that this was a temporary solution and eventually the filler will be absorbed, but the confidence it gave me knowing everyday whether I slept well or not or ate too much salt, my eyes look and quite honestly they even FEEL like my old self. Thank you Dr. Landmann.

Dr. Landmann has done a great job treating two large styes for me. It was really important to me that they be taken care of promptly so that they would not become a distraction in business/professional dealings. Dr. Landmann is very knowledgeable and personable, with a great ability to combine recommendations and advice with the desires and preferences of the patient. I highly recommend Dr. Landmann.

Had an amazing experience with Dr. Landmann and his staff member Marvel. They made it a point to example every part of the chalazion surgery and answered all my questions so that I felt comfortable. They even exampled the procedure to my family members that went with me during the office visits so they also would feel at ease. Throughout the procedure Dr. Landmann spoke to me making sure I was ok. I couldn't of had a better experience he is a very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring doctor. Highly recommended!!!!!!
