Dr. Carmen H. Lebron

I rated a 1 star because of my last visit. I felt completely uncomfortable. Staff members are not as knowledgeable on how to work with people or should I say children. At first I really liked the doctor, but don't know what happened in prior visits including my last. Just to give a bit of an overview, I had an appointment early Saturday morning and came in 10 mins late. I have two children and waking them up early on Saturday is not as easy, but not impossible. So when I get to the office, I already had in mind to reschedule, and the girl in the front desk tells me I can't be late no more than 15 mins and hands me a paper with rules and regulations to office. I told her I didn't mind rescheduling (even though I was 10 mins late) and she said to stay anyway. When I get in the room, the medical assistant didn't have a pleasant attitude. I let it go and waited for the doctor to come in. When it came down to physically seeing my son I lost it. The medical assistant was grabbing his arm upward and applying pressure while the doctor tried looking in his mouth. Of course with a two year old, anything done forcefully a child will not do. Seeing this, I pushed the medical assistant out of the way grabbed my son, sat him down, asked him to open his mouth and he did just that with no force or pressure on him. I was very very disappointed in the doctor this day and strongly considering in looking for another pediatrician. What bothered me the most, was that the doctor had the same unpleasant attitude as the rest of her staff. You are working with children, not with animals. It's been a few months and the thought still bothers me with the way I was treated this day. Hopefully someone has or will have a better experience. As for myself, I may or may not go back.

Kind, patient and caring Doctor who does not rush you during visits. Open minded.
