I just completed a set of upper and lower dentures with Dr. Barry Kaplan. I never thought I could look this good. My sunken cheeks and pointed chin are diminished. The teeth look so natural. My bottoms denture is totally stable and I no longer need adhesives. This is truly a well-made custom denture that exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you Dr. Kaplan for giving me back my smile and self-confidence. You are not only a highly sophisticated prosthodontist but also a dental artist. I also thank your staff for all of their assistance and support.

I've been seeing Dr. Kaplan for about 3 years now, and I recommend him to everyone. I always get top-notch service: the office is clean and up-to-date, the staff is friendly, and I never feel like they're telling me to get services I don't need (which was a problem with a previous dentist of mine--always recommending work to pay off his summer house I think; not so at all with Kaplan). Dr. Kaplan is personable and always takes the time to perform many of the services himself and doesn't rush from patient to patient.

Pros:

- Good, professional service; never have to wait too long in the waiting room for scheduled appointments
- Ample parking (hey this matters)
- Reasonable prices, and they take my insurance
- Friendly staff

Cons:

- The location is somewhat hard to find.
- The office closed for something like 1-2 weeks last year and didn't update their voicemail message, so I called about a last-minute cleaning before my wedding and heard nothing back for days and days..I had to go to a different dentist for the cleaning, but I'll be coming back to Dr. Kaplan.

Dr. Barry is the best!! He has been my dentist for too many years for me to remember (his dad, now retired, was my dentist before Barry). I have had numerous procedures performed as well as regular preventative maintenance over the years and have nothing but rave reviews for his talents, thoroughness and caring. He is a gifted prosthodontist as well a master of general dentistry. He's never in a rush and the procedure isn't complete until he's completely satisfied with the end result. One other thing to note, he is constantly updating his skills and is on the cutting edge of new techniques and developments within his profession.

Finally, he's a GREAT guy, has a GREAT staff and a beautiful newly renovated modern office. I highly recommend Dr. Barry A. Kaplan!!!
