Dr. Andrew Merola, MD

Dr Merola is AMAZING!!!! I had back surgery January of 2012. He came in on his day off to personally preform the operation. He is kind, caring, & compassionate. He came to my room everyday to checkup on me. I couldn't thank him enough. I wouldn't trust any other Dr with my spine. He is simply the BEST!

I suffered severe injuries .Dr Merola before my surgery I trust him with my life he was very professional kind and understanding to me and my family his staff also very kind professional and understanding I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Merola performed both my back and neck Surgeries last year and i have to say "WOW" I feel like im getting better im not fabulous as yet but i will be soon!!!!! He is definitely dedicated to his patients. I had an excellent experience with him and his staff. I will be honest this was the best decision I've made. This review i am writing cannot describe the care and professionalism i received from Dr. Merola and continue to get. I would definitely recommend Dr. Andrew Merola to anyone. If i have to do it all over again i can walk in with confidence and say I'm ready!!! Thank you so much Dr. A Merola!!!! Also, thank you to your staff.

I will be honest and say when I found out I needed the surgery I started googling other doctors with high reviews (after all we are talking cervical spine....mine!!!) but I decided to go with Dr. Merola. This was the best decision I made. This review I am writing cannot describe the care and professionalism I received from Dr. Merola and continue to get. Today is exactly 1 week after my surgery and I am very pleased with the results.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Andrew Merola to anyone. If I have to do it all over again I can walk in with confidence and say I'm ready!!!!!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Andrew Merola 30 days in advance for surgery consultation for my mother who has been experiencing severe backpain. The receptionist required that we provide our contact and insurance information to ensure coverage. They confirmed coverage and proceeded the appointment booking. We received a call from the doctor's office 24 hours ago to confirm our visit and thought that we were all set.

This morning, ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT that was scheduled for 9am; we received a call from Dr. Merola's office stating that he no longer supports our insurance provider and that he WILL NOT see 'the patient' unless she comes in with several hundreds of dollars in hand. The receptionist had no alternative solutions, nor explanation for denial of coverage and Dr. Merola didn't even have the courage to at least apologize for wasting our time in my efforts in getting my mother treated for her ailments.

Needless to say we were quite surprised about this last minute notice and the unprofessional behavior of Dr. Merola and his staff.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone in need of serious medical help.

Save your time and energy and go find another specialist!
