On Feb 11, 2012, Dr. Alla Hart (Bayside, NY) charged me and Cigna Insurance a fee for debridement, on top of regular cleaning, eventhough:
- the total time she spent on my dental cleaning was about 5 minutes.
- I have been undergoing regular cleaning twice a year, and should not require debridement.
- it was my very first visit to her, and debridement is generally not done on first visit.
